An extraordinary location in the heart of the city transformed into a futuristic temple of luxury shopping by the French architect Jean Nouvel. The mega concept store – all strictly glass and stainless steel, inspired by a contemporary style that favours the distinctive elegance of minimalism – is the perfect location for the most exclusive names in high fashion and the trendiest stores of the market.

The Baden ATB, presented in preview at the Düsseldorf trade fair, is the result of a combination of the ‘tall glass-door’ model and the ‘self-service’ model. An absolutely new and innovative combination which guarantees total visibility of the goods and brings the product closer to the customer. The Osaka cabinet features ‘all glass’ doors and has no structural elements to obstruct the view of the high quality products on display. Arneg has also supplied two of the refrigerated sections of the fruit and vegetable area and a small but highly tempting ‘tasting area’ where customers can sample the specialties on sale, sitting comfortably at the tables or at the counter, designed to enhance the merchandise and guarantee an ad hoc service. The cash desk unit by INTRAC - a company of the Arneg group - chosen for Eat’s are also the result of a customised project. The TSC BAG 160 models have in fact been designed and constructed to respond to the specific needs of the store. The cash desk has a mechanism which lifts the trolley up to the level of the desk top to facilitate the handling of the goods which, after identification by the bioptic scanner, are directly packed by the cashier, to offer the customer yet another service.
