In recent days, several grocery retailers in Italy and other European countries have experienced cyberattacks targeting refrigeration control systems. Arneg wishes to provide an update on the security of its remote monitoring services.
Based on the investigations conducted so far, there is no indication that Arneg's service management platform or the systems used by Arneg call centres have been compromised. No evidence has emerged of intrusions into any of the 2,600 stores managed through Arneg's remote management infrastructure.
Cybersecurity is a priority for Arneg, which implements access protection and monitoring systems as part of a well-established approach to information security, further supported by its ISO/IEC 27001 certification for information security management.
Arneg continues to closely monitor developments, maintaining active cooperation with the Italian National Cybersecurity Agency (ACN) and providing its customers with the technical support needed to protect their refrigeration systems and ensure service continuity.
