A conscious approach is key to the development of natural refrigerants

It was extraordinary to be able to meet in person again at ATMO America, held last June 7 and 8 in Washington, DC. Among the participants was Phillip Walker, Director of Refrigerant Solutions at Arneg in Canada, who took part in a panel discussion and brought the voice of Arneg's experience by presenting a case study.

As emerged from the speeches, our actual focus to effectively evolve the use of natural refrigerants is raising awareness among the industry, whether manufacturers, distributors, or customers. It is important to educate to change approach. This change not only positively impacts the environment but also the economy, given the stellar prices of synthetic refrigerants at the present time. Making a conscious shift to the use of natural refrigerants will preserve us from having to make new and necessary adjustments in the future.

The opportunities that come from more sustainable choices are real. That is why it is critical that we as manufacturers first master the subject, untangling international-level regulations. Only then can we instill awareness and self-efficiency in our partners.

Phillip also released an interview with Michael Garry of ATMOshpere in which he clearly explained the biggest challenge we are facing and the approach we at Arneg are proposing to our partners to manage the change more comfortably. If you want to learn more, watch the video.
