These values led us to collaborate with DEM, a young and ambitious brand, born in Lazio in 2007 and rapidly growing with 22 openings in just 17 years. The secret of their success? Constant commitment, direct presence of the owners in each store and a strong bond of trust with suppliers, collaborators and customers.

An approach that fits perfectly with our company's philosophy, laying the foundations for a long-standing collaboration based on a common vision.

Our challenge? To support DEM in the design and realisation of modern, welcoming stores, combining expertise and passion to create a superior shopping experience.

The result is a tailor-made project born from the synergy between two of our group's excellences: Arneg, for cabinets and refrigeration systems, and Incold, for cold stores.

A mix of innovative technology, careful design and operational efficiency, for supermarkets capable of meeting the needs of today and tomorrow.

The DEM supermarkets are characterised by meticulous attention to design, ranging from the elegance of the furnishings to technological innovation, offering customers an immersive shopping experience in a welcoming and modern environment.

The real strength is quality: in the DEM stores, fresh and delicatessen products are not only carefully selected, but also made directly in the in-house workshops. Each department contains areas dedicated to artisanal production, where experts prepare bread, pastries, delicatessen and other specialities on a daily basis, guaranteeing freshness and authenticity in every product.

Every detail of the layout has been carefully designed: Arneg solutions combine aesthetics and functionality, making it possible to create made-to-measure spaces for every need.

Finally, innovation is combined with sustainability: thanks to the eco-friendly technologies adopted, such as CO2 systems, DEM reduces the environmental impact without compromising on service quality, ensuring customers a conscious and cutting-edge shopping experience.

Natural Refrigeration: Arneg Innovation at the Service of DEM

In a context where sustainability is increasingly central, large retailers are taking concrete steps to reduce the ecological impact of their operations. With this in mind, DEM supermarkets have installed our CO₂ refrigeration systems in their stores, a choice that replaces traditional HFC refrigerants, known for their high greenhouse effect potential.

Carbon dioxide, used as a refrigerant, is characterised by being a natural, non-toxic and non-flammable solution, while ensuring optimal energy efficiency and reduced environmental impact. In addition to its ecological advantages, CO₂ lends itself to heat recovery, enabling space heating and thus contributing to a further reduction in energy consumption.

The system installed in the DEM stores is equipped with a state-of-the-art Gas Cooler, with electronic fans and evaporators designed to maximise efficiency and minimise consumption. In addition, the boosters are equipped with inverters for dynamic regulation of the compressors, an advanced technology that extends the life of the system and optimises energy consumption. Thanks to this intelligent regulation, frequent switching on and off is avoided, reducing component wear and improving overall efficiency.

To maximise energy savings, DEM supermarkets have advanced features, including:

Intelligent switching on and off of lights
Self-adaptive overheating of counters
